 Terms Related to Analog Communication

Frequency: Number of cycle per second.                                              OR
                      Number of periodic motion in terms of voltage and current in a given period of time is called frequency Frequency expressed in 'Hz'.
           1Hz= 1 Cycle per second.

Wavelength:It is nothing but length that one cycle of electromagnetic wave occupies within space. It is inversely proportional to frequency and directly proportional to velocity.

Bandwidth: It is an information signal represented as difference between highest and lowest frequency that the channel will allow to pass through it (pass band).
